Today, at the headquarters of the Marshal’s Office of Pomeranian Voivodeship in Gdansk a meeting of the members of the Pomeranian Offshore Wind Energy Development Platform in the Baltic Sea and the parties interested in the development of the offshore sector was held.
The meeting was opened by the Vice-Marshal of Pomeranian Voivodeship Leszek Bonna and the Government Plenipotentiary for Renewable Energy Sources Ireneusz Zyska. The event could not miss the initiators of the Platform – Rumia Invest Park represented by Agnieszka Rodak, President of the Board and the Mayor of Rumia Michał Pasieczny.
Issues related to the current and future functioning of the Pomeranian Offshore Platform were presented, including building the supply chain potential based on innovation. The role of regional small and medium-sized seaports in servicing wind farms was discussed. On the other hand, Mayor Michał Pasieczny presented the concept of creating a Pomeranian Competence Centre for Offshore Renewable Energy in Rumia.
Together we are building a positive climate for offshore wind energy development in the region.
